Chalice

A goblet, glass, cup; anything that you can drink out of will work. Used to drink an offering when honoring someone/something during a ritual.

Athame

A special, usually fairly dull, double-edged blade used for cutting only in the astral plane. It's sometimes called the "black-handled knife," but mine has a white bone handle, so... whatever works :)

Bolline

Another knife, often called the "white-handled knife." It is usually semicircular in shape and used for cutting herbs and other objects during ritual. (I don't even have one of these, I use my athame for everything... While some would raise their eyebrows, and tell me I'm "wrong" I have never had a bit of problem with this arrangement.)

Wand

On a basic level, a stick. It is usually wooden, although I've seen some beautiful clay ones, used to direct energy. There are lots of decorative wands available - including things like seven stones to represent the chakras, quartz crystals on the ends, etc. Mine came from a tree I was especially fond of, and I've been carving Celtic knotwork into it for years... (and may NEVER finish at this rate...).

Besom

A "witch's broom." Can be small or full-sized, and is used to sweep the altar or the circle area before a ritual. You can also hang it on or near your doors for protection.

Mortar and Pestle

Used to grind your herbs and whatnot to prepare them properly for magickal use.
