Face South and say, "I welcome you, Elemental Fire, Envoy of Universal Energy, to my circle. As I am passion and energy, we are kith and kin, and I call upon you to watch over, aid, and guide me tonight."

Face West, and say, "I welcome you, Elemental Water, Envoy of the cycles of Time, to my circle. As I am water and blood, we are kith and kin, and I call upon you to watch over, aid, and guide me tonight."

Face North and say, "I welcome you, Elemental Earth, Envoy of Universal Matter, to my circle. As I am flesh and bone, we are kith and kin, and I call upon you to watch over, aid, and guide me tonight."

Face East and say, "I welcome you, Elemental Air, Envoy of Space, to my circle. As I am thought and breath, we are kith and kin, and I call upon you to watch over, aid, and guide me tonight."

If you are in a location where saying something out loud will get you into trouble, spell the elements out using the witch's sigil chart (see how handy the chalk can be!) inside the circle facing each direction.

Walk around the circle three times, feeling the energy grow with each pass.

Your circle is cast!

To Open your circle, reverse the order that the elements were called, saying at each quarter:

"Thank you (element) for your aid; go if you must, stay if you will, so mote it be!"
