Composting!
There are several good reasons for it; we need to cut down on the waste humans throw into landfills, we can use it to fertilize our gardens, and we can cut down the use of chemicals.
What should
I put it in?
There are several
different types of bins that you can build or buy, and I have even seen some
people (generally those with lots of extra space) just make a pile at the
end of the yard (wouldn't recommend that, though, as creatures tend to try
to live in it). You can build a bin from something as simple as leftover pallets
or snow fence, or as snazzy as a sectioned wood and wire type.
