So What is a Kitchen Witch?

The best kind! LOL Sorry, it was there :)
A "kitchen witch" uses everything in her home to make his/her magick! Beyond the "standard" tools, using everything at her disposal, every appliance and piece of furniture gets roped into magickal use; from the blender and coffee makers to the oven. Every recipe in the house has the potential to be magickal, as well! if you have a tendency to throw a bit of your energy into everything you do in the kitchen - you are a kitchen witch!

Here are some little tips to start with:

To ensure the success of a recipe: Write the recipe out in red ink. Lay it on a flat surface, place a red candle on top of it and light the candle. Let the candle burn down completely before trying the recipe. While the candle is burning, envision a successful meal!

 

To cleanse the kitchen of bad luck: Tie two dirty dishrags that have been used in the kitchen together. Place them in a saucepan of water with three bay leaves. Bring to a boil and boil for a few minutes. Remove saucepan from the stove and let cool. When the water is cool enough, remove the rags and the leaves. Discard the water outside onto bare earth. Bury the knotted rags and leaves outside and bad luck should be gone from your kitchen.

Whenever you choose to do your "spring" cleaning, be sure to discard the rags and mop heads outside your home when you are finished cleaning. As you clean imagine that you are cleansing all negative energy from your home. When you throw out the cleaning rags, any negative energy that was in your home will be thrown out with them!
